Will looked over his shoulder and saw that the Captain had entered the room. Walking over with Dax right behind, he introduced himself. "Captain Mozart, I'm Dr. William Slade." "Very nice to meet you Dr. You came very highly reccomended. By the way, I noticed that you interned under Denton Harvey at Pelonia III. You're aware of what happened aren't you?" "No. What did happen? I'd heard that he'd been charged with treason, but that's all." "Its all over the news service. You may want to check it out." "I'll do that. Thank you Captain." They looked out at the dance floor. The music was slow and rather dull at the moment. Will rubbed his chin, then walked over to the replicator. "Computer, brass trumpet." The computer beeped and the shining instrument appeared in the replicator's tray. Will picked it up. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'll liven this party up a bit." Will walked over to the MC and whispered in his ear. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are proud to present for your listening pleasure, the swinging music of the 1930s, by our own Dr. William Slade!" Will broke into a blaze of swing music, backed by the band behind him. He smiled as he saw theat there were several among the crowd who knew how to dance to it.
