As they walked over to get a drink Alexis hoped Will would engage the
conversation. And to her delight he did.

"So what's your post here?"

"Astrophysics." Alexis said.

"Really? Never really known many Trills."

"Well you know one now."

"Are you joined?"

"Yes...unfortunetly." Alexis said

"Don't most joined Trills want to be joined?"

"Yes unless they're joined because the symbiont is about to die if it isn't
joined with a host." Alexis said
