Born in Cardassian prison camp where parents were being held for yrs, after capture.� Lived in camp for 5yrs and was rescued by federation marines, but both parents were killed during rescue.� She was adopted by Marine Sgt. Sergio Montova and his wife Maria, and raised in space while her father moved from ship to ship.
